Welcome to Lea. These Terms of Service govern your use of meetlea.ai and all related services — AI coaching chat, content, and tools (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Service Description
Lea is an AI-powered health and wellness coaching platform. The Service provides general health information, wellness coaching, educational content, and tools related to GLP-1 medications, menopause and midlife wellness, and nutrition.
Lea is not a healthcare provider. The Service does not provide medical advice, diagnoses, or treatment. Always consult your doctor or other qualified healthcare provider before making changes to your medication, treatment plan, diet, or exercise routine.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you are at least 18 and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
3. Accounts and Registration
Some features are available without an account ("Guest Mode"). To access the full Service, you must create an account by providing a valid email address. You are responsible for the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.
4. Subscription Plans and Billing
- Free tier: 5 complimentary conversations. No credit card required.
- Monthly plan: $12/month, billed monthly. Cancel anytime.
- Annual plan: $99/year (~$8.25/month), billed annually. Includes a 7-day free trial for new subscribers.
All prices in US dollars. Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. You will be charged on the same date each cycle.
5. Cancellation and Refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation:
- Your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period.
- You will not be charged for future billing periods.
- No partial refunds for unused portions of a billing period.
For annual plans within the 7-day free trial, cancelling before the trial ends results in no charge. If you believe you have been billed in error, contact support@meetlea.ai within 30 days.
6. No Medical Advice
The Service is for informational and educational purposes only. Nothing provided by Lea — including AI-generated responses, articles, tools, templates, or product recommendations — constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Lea's AI responses are generated using language models and clinical reference data. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors and should never substitute for professional medical judgment.
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or your local emergency services immediately.
7. Product Recommendations and Affiliate Disclosure
Lea may recommend third-party products, services, or providers (supplements, telehealth platforms, wellness devices) during conversations or within the Service. Some recommendations may include affiliate links — Lea may earn a commission if you purchase through them.
Affiliate relationships do not influence the medical or wellness information Lea provides. Recommendations are based on available clinical evidence and user-reported outcomes. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or efficacy of any third-party product.
8. Templates and Generated Documents
The Service may generate templates such as insurance pre-authorization letter drafts. These are educational starting points only — not medical documents, legal filings, or official correspondence. Have any generated template reviewed and approved by your healthcare provider before submitting it.9. Health Data and Privacy
Your health information (chat messages, check-ins, tracking data) is stored securely and handled per our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your personal health information.10. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws.
- Attempt to obtain medical prescriptions or controlled substances through the Service.
- Misrepresent your identity or provide false information.
- Share your account credentials with others.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or extract the underlying AI models or prompts.
- Use the Service to generate content that is harmful, misleading, or deceptive.
- Abuse the guest chat feature (e.g., automated requests, scraping).
11. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, and technology within the Service — text, graphics, logos, the Lea AI system, educational materials — are owned by Lea Health, Inc. or its licensors. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lea Health, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated responses will be accurate or complete.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lea Health, Inc., its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
15. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice at least 30 days before they take effect.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA. Disputes shall be resolved in state or federal courts located in Delaware.
